Does updating bios make ram slots working

My motherboard intel dg33fb has four ram slots, out of which only 2 are working at a time.
I am also facing onle more problem that my graphics card xfx nvidia 8800gt is not working properly on my motherboard.
So I am eager to know that, whethet updating my bios will help me with this problem.
Can anybody help me?........
