Fastest ram for i5 2500k?

I was wondering what the fastest ram the i5 2500k can take
The rating on intels website is ddr3 10666/13333 so thats 1333mhz and ??? (i've never seen anything rated at 13333 just 12800 (1600 mhz)

I', planning on getting the asus p8p67 pro and that says it can run upto 2200mhz

Sorry i'm a little dense but could someone clear this up for me.

It officially supports 1333MHz, but you can go higher provided your motherboard supports it. Nevertheless, it's not worthwhile to go much higher - the prices increase quickly and the performance boosts are nil. Look for a nice 1600MHz set is my advice.

Thats as high as I would recommend within reason (ie price per performance gain). Otherwise you could try this... if your wallet is just sooOOooo heavy with cash you can't bear it anymore:

1600mhz cas8 ram for $72. Youre ram speed is not going to matter because your cpu and gpu will bottleneck first. 1600mhz cas9 ram is fine, but this stuff is just as cheap, so why not?
