What quad core can use with m2n32 2011

Hello guys
Need some help to up grade 4 year old system.

I have the Asus M2N32 Sli delux wireless Mother board. w/ AMD 6400x2 with a Nvida GTX 280 OC.

At the time I dont want to go to a new Board,GPU and Processor so...

1 >What Quad core is the best I should upgrade to for the M2N32?

2 >What Ram DDR2 is the best upgrade to go with said Quad core that my Motb can handle?

I have looked all this up on Tom's and other sites, but get so many email strings going off topic it is to much for my lack of knowledge/skill to sort out.

I have a new Nvida GTX 560TI 2GB Gpu that I just purchased to start this with. I will not be OC'ing anything so just simple answers please as I am not a comp builder buy trade just a addicted gamer

I do not want to build a new rig untill Xmas, then I will go with 6 core and new borad and what not.

PS> I have a 750 PSU now so I am good with power.

It shows the Phenom II's are ok

The same link shows you the QVL for ram as well...so you can look at the list for DDR2 800 ram as well...looks like a 2gig per slot is the largest allowed on the vendors list though.

8G is the total the motherboard can address according to this as well
