Help please! Downloaded speed fan and now I have a problem!

Hello all, I downloaded speedfan thinking it would be cool and all. I Have a brand new computer that I put together just a few days ago. When I opened the program it had like a dos screen going and locked up then shut down. Now everytime I try and start my computer, it starts for like 3 seconds than just shuts off! I would be open to any suggestions or comments on helping out with this. thanks!
