Additional Comments:The reason for the different prices, is because I have 750$ saved up as of right now. But If i wait till next Friday (June 3rd), I can have 900$ available for the build. This is my first ever build, and ill post pics when i get the parts, and take pics of the finished pc if you guys could help me out.

I'll let you shop around on newegg for brands and prices, but here's what I'd suggest...

i5 2500k processor
CM hyper 212+ cooler
MSI P67A-G43 motherboard
4 or 8gb 1600mhz DDR3
DVD Burner
nVidia GTX 560 Ti 1gb video card
Antec 300
Corsair 650w power supply
Hard Drive
+SSD if you have room in your budget (OCZ Solid 3 60gb is nice)

That sort of build will give you some real good performance for the price. I can help if you've got any more questions, but maybe that will get you started...
