More about dual gefore video card
  1. Yes, I believe they will both work in concert although it is recommended to use two video cards with the same vRAM amount. However, a dual-GPU video card with 2GB will be every bit as good as two GTX460-1GB cards in SLI.
  2. 768 bit would be awesome..
  3. the 2GB is worse in OCing, and no the 2GB is not as good as 1GB SLI, cause its the same card but just more memory
  4. oh ive red up about this card, it doesnt support sli yet, i will wait till point of view brings out the win2 and sli that with the normal gtx 460
  5. 2win will be something like asus ares (2x 5870, but in somekind better CF), but worse performance cause a single 5870 is much better than single 460
  6. random questing will i be able to sli Point of view GTX 460 with a aerocool e78-730 PSU
  7. Not if you're overclocking, Aerocool power supplies don't get many good reviews and I've never heard of it.
  8. so how can you say they are not getting good reviews if you havent heard of em?
  9. The EVGA GTX460 2win WILL NOT support SLI, even though the images show the SLI connector.
  10. hah fail
  11. Not supporting SLI is understandable being as it's a dual-GPU card.

Have you ever heard of this website; Google?
  12. um, i tried searching "google" in google
, but its totally different from what you said, you said that you have heard that they are not good and that you havent heard of them - makes no sence...
  13. No, he said they don't get good reviews and he's never heard of the brand. That makes perfect sense, you're just being facetious.
  14. yeah but to know that they dont get good reviews you need to read or hear of them...
i didnt mean to be mean tbh

  16. a 730W PSU will easily handle 460SLI *correct me if im not right*

Doesn't matter what it says in the model name but rather what's on the +12v rail(s). These cheap power supplies usually have but two-thirds or even as little as half the output advertised.

He is talking about the NEW dual GPU 460 Its the EVGA GTX 460 2WIN. Its not just a 2GB card, so NO, its not just more memory. One card with 2 GPU's, and it out runs the new GTX 580.....
  19. I sit here and read all these comments over and over and I wonder if you guys even know what your talking about. The new card is a Dual GPU card and YES, it can be run in SLI which would be like quad SLI but only TWO cards.

I used to run TWO ATI 3870 X2's in crossfire and a year ago a friend talked me into getting a GTX 470 Superclocked. Though I now have DX11 capability I lost Frames Per Second and can no longer play games Max'd out in the video settings. I never should have upgraded. Now I have to go out and buy another GTX 470 Superclocked and they are becoming hard to find at a good price.
  20. ^ i know what's EVGA 2win, but there's also 2GB version of GTX 460 ... but nvm maybe i misunderstood, and yeah there is such a thing like quad CF/SLI, for example 6990 runs in quad CF...
  21. The HD6990 in CFX is a silly waste of money.
