Hi all, I recently ordered some computer parts off Amazon to get a new rig setup for Diablo (among other things). After careful installation of everything, I was disheartened to see that the system didn't boot to POST.
I ordered:
Gigabyte GA-990FXA UD3 (says Rev 2.1 on the board, but as far as I can tell on Gigabyte's site, there is no Rev 2.1) Also, the board is blue as opposed to black, as shown in the picture on Amazon / Gigabyte's website; and it came with some dust around the edges of parts. First new motherboard I've ordered with light dust on it from the get go.
AMD 6100
Radeon 6870
Corsair Vengeance (8 gigs) at 1600mhz
So I installed everything, double checked all connections, and cross checked with the stickied guide on issues with no POST / bootup, and yet none of that seemed to help.
My main question is this: Is it possible that the BIOS version isn't up to date to run AM3+ processors?

Also, any other things I may have looked over?
Thanks!
