HP notebook video graphics

Hey,

I'm getting a new computer in the summer, but for now I'm just using an HP notebook. I play sc2 and I'm looking to increase the performance, if possible. More specifically, it's an HP G60-418CA Laptop, it comes with an Intel Graphics Media 4500M card, pretty crappy for gaming. I'm just getting into a more detailed look at computer hardware/software, so if someone could let me know if it's possible to increase its gaming performance by replacing the card, which I heard was not possible.

Also, if anyone has any other suggestions for what I could do to increase gaming performance, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

  1. Nope, not possible to add a card.

3d Analyze may help emulate a graphics card though: http://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/tools/3d_analyze/download/

You'd have to benchmark to compare performance with and without 3d Analyze.
