Waves on my monitor when running any application.

Hello, ever since build my comp couple of weeks ago I've been getting waves on my screen whenever running any application. I am running an msi 870-g45, ati 6850, 750w psu, amd quad core 965 gxt 3.4ghz and I'm running windows xp 64-bit. Maybe its the old operating system?

More about waves monitor running application
  1. i have this on my computer at work, diagonal "waves" scrolling down the screen, its an old p4 with onboard intel gfx. Dont know what it is, the monitor was ok on another machine. Id say its interference from something, like the hard drive. Do you notice it happens more when there is more hard drive activity?
  2. Check the cables, check the pins, make sure your resolution and refresh rate are correct and compare them to the recommended settings and update your drivers.
