SFF build for 1600$

Forum Systems : New Build SFF build for 1600$

Hello Toms Hardware forum. Long time part-time lurker, first time poster and first time builder. I have, however, dealt with parts replacement on my older PC's before, so I know how to handle a GPU and a PSU. Mobu/CPU is still new to me, but I am willing to learn and finally pop my cherry on something I've always wanted to do for myself.

Right, I need assistance for parts hunting and beginner tips/tricks in building a system up. I am opening the guides in the forum right now as I type, just to make sure I dont forget anything.

The system itself has to be microATX and small form factor. Reason behind this is that I will eventually have to move to my native homeland (Philippines) in the near future for personal reasons and want to bring it with me, since I'll be there for a while. I'd like to be able to pack it myself in my bag properly, or at least wont have to pay out of my earhole for fedex shipping to there because it just happens to be a case full of air with small parts.

Also, I intend to bring it to LAN parties back home (yes, they still exist there), for a bit of COD4, or Warcraft DOTA, along with the latest games out there. SFF would help immensely.

Approximate Purchase Date: End week of May until mid-June, no farther. Sooner, better, so I have more time to troubleshoot potential problems early.

Budget Range: 1600 $ max

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Graphics Work, Gaming, General Multitasking usage

Parts Not Required: Already have a mouse. Thats it.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.com please.

Country of Origin: NY, USA currently, where I will build and test it, then will move to the tropics (Philippines) in the near future.

Parts Preferences: I have a bent towards Asus mobos, Corsair/Enermax PSU's (I had an Enermax that's outlived 3 systems before it gave up the ghost), and Western Digital, quite recently, for their Black HDD's. Lian Li cases have been always great to me, and I hear they've made SFF cases now. I'm open to buying high performance parts and then underclock them for heat management.
Required, non-negotiable parts are:
-Intel sandy bridge CPU
-150-200$ GPU. Most likely this'll be a radeon 6850
-16GB RAM (could bump it down to 12GB. RAM size is a bit of a requirement.)
-1TB WD Caviar Black. Most likely it'll be the main HD, but if its possible, I'd like a SSD in and I can use the 1TB for data HD purposes.
-Case fans or liquid cooling for massive heat issues. I know, asking for the near impossible in SFF, but its the tropics we're talking about. At best, it'll be used constantly in 70+f weather (and this is already in a airconditioned room down there)
-Small Form Factor case. I'm open to sizing it up, but it has to remain small and light.

Overclocking: 75% no. However, I may need the quality parts due to the heat of the tropics. Underclocking is maybe 80-90% if it means less heat.

SLI or Crossfire: No. SFF is tight enough, I'm not making it a tighter closet. Also, less hassle with potential problems with earlier programs that precede SLI/XFire.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080. Very important that I can color-correct it if it does not come auto-corrected. No cheapo's please, but at the same time I dont want to gouge myself. would be nice to get a 22inch one to match my current one back home.

Additional Comments: This build is meant to stay in the heat. Admittedly, this isnt ideal considering the choice of small form factors, but I have seen recent SFF cases that beat my current rig back home in the tropics in fan sizes and amounts alone. Just cant decide on one. As you can probably guess, this is an enthusiast rig, meant for SFF. Its gotta fight hard against the heat whilst being able to perform. I'm open to underclocking if it means less heat, and I'm quite willing to consider a size up in case if its still smallish and light enough.

What level would you consider this?

It won't handle high end games that's for sure. And for $800 you would be better off just...
