Hi,
Can anyone find the answer for rather bizzarre gradual slowing down Sins of Solar Empire, Diplomacy? It starts normally, but gradually looses the speed to very, very slow movements. In fact within a half an hour the game is unplayble. Naturally, I play only the largest maps. My system spec:

In my experience... Slowing down of graphics during gameplay has been caused by the processor or the graphics card getting a bit too warm. I'm not sure if this is the case here, and it seems like it shouldn't be a problem considering you have a new high-end graphics card and a pretty solid cpu. I would check your temps to make sure everything is seated correctly and you don't have too much thermal paste, etc. Other than that... Someone else may have to help. :/ Goodluck man!

Thanks for the note. Unfortunately, I have had installed several extra cooling devices, on processor, graphic card... the system was customer built a week ago by a big PC merchant as I thought my previous similary spec system is to be blamed. It does not look like that.
