TIM - $5 - Shin Etsu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835150080
RAM - $75 - (2 x 4GB) Corsair CAS 9 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145324

System includes 120 Hz monitor for crisp , clear action .... Twin 560's (900 MHz) are 40% faster than a single 580. MoBo will give x16 x16 GFX support ..... Any decent full tower case and 10.0 performance rated PSU per jonnyguru will cost more .... HAF-X w/ Corsair Ax850 would be 2nd choice.

to hit your $2000 limit, or go further you might

-$80 - Corsair Force 3 SSD will be released any day (June 1st ?) at $220 .... it matches vertex 3's performance and will force OCZ to drop price on Vertex 3....pick whichever one has best bang for the buck ... at $220ish
-$45 - Hold off on overclocking until budget allows , drop aftermarket cooler / TIM
-$220 - Get 1 GFX card now and another later.
-$170 - Get a 60Hz monitor
-$50 drop Blue Ray movie support from optical drive

are you going to go 3d/multi monitor?

the P67 MBs having 'only' x8/x8 bandwidth in SLI is of little to no consequence, as these cpus/MBs perform better than X58 boards anyway. (Do NOT choose the lesser performing X58 MBs and prior generation of i7-9x0 cpus)
