Does it matter if 2 HD5770's are from the same manufacturer to crossfire them? I have a Diamond and a Sapphire. Both are HD5770.

Nope that will work just fine, I have an HIS and XFX 6870 in crossfire and they work just fine, doesnt matter if its reference model or not it will work.
