Anything I can do to upgrade my computer for gaming?

I have an hp dv7 notebook with amd turion II Ultra Dual-Core Mobile M600 2.40 GHz, 4 GB and 64-bit. Also has an ATI Radeon HD 3200. Just discovered Crysis but I doubt my comp is capable.

Usually Laptops are not able to be upgraded.
If you don't really have the need for the "mobile" part of your pc i suggest sellling it and going for a desktop pc.

Crysis 2 seems to be a little less demanding as the orginal Crysis.Currently a demo going on right now i suggest playing that instead.

Unfortunately the mobility is needed. Thanks though! Everywhere I've looked it seems like there's not much I can do and I'm literally brand new to the whole idea of gaming so I'm still learning.

Ya that laptop is aged quite a bit.I think turions were first made back in 2001.

If you have the extra cash i suggest building a budget PC strictly for gaming.Even on a budget it will still be faster than your laptop.

$900-$1200 and you could get a very nice gaming laptop

You could play crysis on lowest settings at perhaps 800x600, but it wouldn't be pretty. You're going to need something with at least a mobile 5830 (like a 5750 for desktop) or nVidia 360M.
