Joining ATT for the first time advice on modems to buy?

Ok guys i called up att the the other day and they told me about the dsl options Etc they offer.
So i asked the representative what will be the prices for there wireless modem and they told me it would be it would be 100dollars.
He mentioned to me that i can buy a wireless router/modem, i asked him what brands would u recommend he said netgear ,d-link etc.

But what i need to know is what wireless modem brand and model can i use with the att dsl service,what is compatible.

Go with his recommendations -- Netgear and Dlink are okay (Netgear is usually less daunting to set up because it offers the basic settings rather than stuff you'll never use and they have an excellent user support forum).

Hopefully ATT support site will have a help file on those modem/routers' WAN settings that work with their service.

Basically you need to order an ADSL (perhaps called DSL where you are) Wireless Router (ADSL/DSL models includes modem so you don't have to specify that).
