Graphics Card to run latest games at 1080 and Ultra

So I have an i5 2500K and ram is cheap, but I was wondering what would be a good card to run games like the Witcher 2, Fallout New Vegas, Diablo 3, Skyrim etc...at max settings and at 1080 resolution? Would I need a GTX 580? or is that too far advanced for 'current gen games?

I'm looking for the cheapest possible card to run those games at those settings, after some research would that be a 460 GTX?

I don't know about the other ones but have you seen the skyrim screenshots? That's going to require some extreme GPU power to get off the ground on max settings. I wouldn't go below the 485, or some kind of SLI setup.
