Best wired router?

I'm going to be living at the dorms in my college next month and my roommate and I are shopping for a router. We aren't technically supposed to have a router and we don't want anyone trying to hack into or use our internet connection, so we are looking at strictly wired routers. What are some of the best wired routers on the market today?

you could use a wireless router. just make sure you disable the wireless so it does not provide access and does not broadcast.

Amazon has a great little home router that isn't wireless, its like 30 bucks. Even with a wireless router not broadcasting can still be hacked.
