Cyberpower computer upgrde

I purchased a CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra 2062 Desktop PC with a Phenom II X4 965 (3.4GHz), 8GB DDR3 ram (4 x 2GB), AMD Radeon HD 6870 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit.

I upgraded the ram by replacing it with.....

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL

At the time it was the most bang i could get for the buck. The end goal i have is for a solid computer to run 3ds Max 2012, Photoshop cs5, zBrush and Messiah 3d.

Would adding another video card and the crossfire bridge do any good?

Or is it time to start shopping another computer with a multi core or dual processor multi core?

You're build looks pretty good . What Motherboard do you have? Make sure it supports DDR3 1600.. Most do though. And Do you have OEM Ram? Or a Brand name.. Because u can always buy the same kit u already have with 8GB and make it 16GB, and What speed is your current RAM at?

Make sure your ramis using 1600 speed in the bios, the 965 is a black edition is it not so get an aftermarket cooler and go for 4ghz. That makes a nice cut in transcoding and rendering. An X6 would also benefit you too.

What do you mean by "black edition"?

Also, what is a x6?

I suggest looking at a workstation video card instead of your gaming video card for the software your are using.

whats your PSU and hes talking about a 6 core processor such as a 1090T.
