Everything looks good,But are you going for a P67 mobo?I mean you have a non "K" cpu ,so you cant overclock much(only raise the multi by 4 AFAIK) .You should go for some good h67/h61 mobo .It will save you a lot and you can get a better gpu?ram?
  2. there any different between h67 and p67 on games ???
  3. no gaming does not rely on the motherboard for performance only the cpu, gpu,...
  4. but h67 max memory bus 1333 accept !

is that's different p67 and memory bus 1600 on gaming and loading ..?
  5. for gaming there is not a difference between 1333 and 1600 :non:
  6. what about this mobo GA-H67MA-UD2H it's cheaper just 5 $ from p67 ud3

    so kept in p67 or h67 ?
  7. will you overclock i am guessing no that is why you should go with an h67 board. also do you want to sli because if you are sure that you will get a p67 board. if you dont and get a p67 board that would be a waste of money.
  8. my dear i'm no't overclocker or scaling video card SLI , CF

so u advice me H67, and go to memory bus 1333 to save money and increase memory size... :)
  9. yup
    h67 mobo
    i5 2400
    8gb 1333 memory
  10. great there another thing

for 1920x1080 res what's gpu give Performance
    sapphire hd 6950 1g
    gainward 560 ti
    ؟
  11. a 560 ti will
  12. this board ? it's ok for i5 2400

    GA-H67MA-D2H-B3

It is ok, but i would rather stay with P67 as H67 is just highly stripped down version of P67. It will limit you in future upgrades and can even impact performance.
Before Z68 chipset I would say it was ok to use it if you wanted use integrated GPU, but now its almost worthless when you have P67/Z68 choice.

All H67/P67/Z68 chipsets cost almost same +- few $$, but what makes board prices vary so much is quality of components used and added features.
  14. the problem z68 no't coming yet to my country

    so i will stay on h67 ... :(

You plan on using gpu inside i5 to transcode videos ?
If not and you plan use HD 6950 I dont see reason for going to stripped down chipset.
  16. hmmm so the first board i put it will be good ???

    Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3-B3
    or
    ASUS P8P67 LE
  17. im pretty sure he's gaming and he wont oc or sli so i think he use his money wisely and get an h67
  18. please i need best choice ???

    too puzzled !!!
  19. try the asrock p67 pro3 even though it is a p67 it is competitively priced. one day when you get the guts you can try and tweek that strangled 2500k

    Good option, Asrock P67 pro3 (130$)

You can check also Asrock P67 Extreme4 (160$) which is currently best board from price/value consideration if you can afford pay few more $$. And its getting some best reviews also.

i5-2500k can go over 4.5GHz if you know what you are doing, just watch for voltage on CPU, too much can kill it.
You will probably need better then stock cooler if want go so high tho :)
  23. i think just reach 4 GHz no more ... can i reach it with intel heatsink stuck ?

    i will go down with gpu ! what about GTX 460 with 1920 x 1080 ?
  24. 4GHz are fine with stock, you should not have problem.

GTX 460 is ok unless you want everything maxed.
  25. newegg and all shopping site restricted in our country...

    i will but ga p67a ud3 b4

and i thank very much all one comment on this subject

and thanks tom's hardware to give useful info for basic user.
  26. I still suggest that get a P67/Z67 if you are going to have a non "K" cpu.
gtx 460 1GB should do 1080 but only low-mid settings.
What games u are looking to play?
  27. i see much rig i5 2500k with p67 without problem and overclock to 4.7 !!!

i like fps and strategy and multiplayer games like:
    GTA IV
    Battlefield bad company 2
call of duty modern warfare 2
    Red Alert 3
