A review would include some hard facts about lens quality, possibly
comparisons against other lenses and sample images. The link does not even
offer a picture of what is touted as the lens's best feature; a trick lens
cap. The link is to a press release, not a review.

http://kmp.bdimitrov.de/lenses/pri [...] 0f2.8.html Has scant little information also. except that it is composed of " 5
elements in 4 groups " and has 'ghostless coating' as a special feature.

they say:
"all test shots we took with this Pentax f2.8/40mm lens were extremely
detailed and showed a nice, natural rendition of colours. Contrast was
superb"
I guess everyone has to take their word on it.

It's a lens cap with a bit you can screw out of the center. That's all
it needs, really, since the glass is so tiny and the focal length is
fixed.
There's a full Japanese review somewhere out there. It was mentioned in
the pentax-users mailing list. I don't have the URL handy, but it also
had demo pictures, and they looked pretty sharp.
