Additional Comments:

So, I am brand new to this type of building. I have built several high-end gaming systems, but never a server.
Please forgive me if my newbiness is ridiculous, but I have just begun my research into servers/RAID :o beginning the 23rd.

Okay, what I am hoping to accomplish here is this: I want to build a rack server, capable of serving my file storage needs, with expandability for the future, while at the same time have it multitask as a Minecraft AND Aion private server.

Here is what I have thrown together so far. (Which isn't much...)

HP ProLiant DL360 G5

SSDs for OS/Game Server Install (4 Drives)

Iomega NAS Chassis [File Storage]

Storage for the NAS (8 Drives)

Obviously, I am missing some very core components (eg. RAM, Battery backup/UPS) But I need to know if this is even a feasible/reasonable start.
