Router configuratioin

Hello,
I recently for some unknown reason lost my internet connection. I stayed on the phone for about an hour yesterday getting rconnected to Att. Got it back,but now I need to reconfigure my wireless laptop to my netgear router. Can someone help me? I've been trying by myself all day and I'm getting frustrated, but I'm stubborn and will not give up! I know I can d this w/o paying someone!!! Thank you! Polly
