More about missing motherboard stand offs
  1. Note all cases use all stand-offs. A local PC shop might be the easiest place to get some more.

Could you help me a lil by telling me what they are exactly called?

Missing two is not the end of the world.

A full ATX motherboard will have places for 9.
For the moment, Just omit the ones that provide the least support.

Then, contact the case vendor for support; they should mail you the missing parts.

I suppose you could order a parts kit like this:

Uhh I don't need a full kit... Could you help me perhaps find it @frys? I can pick it up locally there.

Take a sample standoff that you have, and go to some place where they repair computers. They will probably give you a couple like it , for free. I would.
A buck or two at most.

You should be able to get by OK like this. In the old days you would only get 4 or 5 metal standoffs, and maybe a few plastic ones that would snap in. As long as your computer is just setting still it doesn't take much to hold the motherboard in place. If you were a builder and you were going to send the computer by UPS halfway around the world it you might have more reason to worry about it.
  7. I have some extras I would send you if you lived close and didn't mind waiting on the mail. But I'm sure you could find a kit really cheap local for say around $10.00.
  8. I had my dad pick up a kit for $2 from Frys.
