Need Advice on right Graphics Card

Hello,

Guys I'm pulling my hair out looking for a the 'right' graphics card for my gaming system. I need your thoughts on the best for my low end system.

I've got an HP Pavilion A6700y. It has a MCP61PM-HM (Nettle 3) Motherboard supporting a NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 built in chip set. It has a 300 watt power supply,VGA Connection, PCI-E 16 slot and 4 slot. My goal is getting the best gaming graphics possible with this system.

I'm not adverse to upgrading my power if it's really necessary but I'd like to get by for no more than $150 if possible.

Without upgrading your power supply there isn't really much you could do. The best that I know of for a 300w PSU would be the 4650 although I don't really know how that scales to other cards. The GT 440 or 240 might be better but I don't really know...
