Gtx 460 vs 5850

I am planning on getting a new PC built. I will be using it for gaming, so a ive decided the processor im going to go with. However i am having some problems deciding on the graphics card i want to have installed. Here are some of the cards I have looked at:

ASUS GTX460 768MB 192-BITS GDDR5 http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=kDBMQo8MICJfpxEF&templete=2

NVIDIA GTX 460 EVGA-1024MB 256 Bits GDDR5 SUPER CLOCKED http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=01G-P3-1372-TR&family=GeForce%20400%20Series%20Family&sw=

ATI HD 5850 XFX-1024MB 256 Bits DDR5

Which one of these 3 cards would be better?

More about 5850
  1. go with the 2nd card nvidia 460 evga .nvidia has physx and their drivers are also mature
  2. Here's a bench comparing the 5850 to the GTX460 1GB. Some games the 5850 is better, in others the 460 wins. So it depends which games you wish to play, also which resolution. The 460 is substantially quieter at load. None of the cards would be a bad choice. For my uses and the fact i like a fairly quiet rig, i'd go with the 460 (i also play WoW which works better with the nVidia card.

  3. GTX 460 1GB

    for...

    1. It has PhysX
    2. It is quite.
    3. Cheaper then 5850 , should be.
    4. 1 GB becaz anything less then that and you would feel a bit constrained on current games.
  4. don't take 768MB version, EVGA's card is really nice, but avg 5850 performs 5-10% better than 460, but i'd take 5850 over 460 if it'd be for lower price, it has lower power consumption avg is better, if you can OC the 460 like 25% and 5850 like 20% then it'd even then better than 460, but it's kinda hotter than 460
