Upgrade CPU

Dear friends my name is umair and i am from pakistan i want some information. I use dell optiplex GX620 Pentium D 2.8 820 and want to upgrade with "Intel E5700 dual core processor" does dell "OHH807" Motherboard support it or not.

Call Dell. Frankly, their support centers are probably nearer to you than to us

I don't believe that computer supports Core 2 chips. That's just from light research though.

The best info i could gather about the motherboard is that it has a 945G Chipset, Which supports upto Core 2 Duo's. So i guess the processor will do fine.
However, you should call Dell Support just to be sure!
