More about build time leave suggetions thanks
  1. look into a 13 2100 build/ i5 2300 it would be better than that amd setup you are thinking about

Looks more expensive and I honestly do not think I would be maxing out the AMD Phenom II X4 955. All I plan on doing is gaming. Please correct me if I am wrong.

4 cores are greater than 2 considering most games are turning towards more than 2 cores now. also as it stands the amd build is still cheaper.

Thank you for the help, cheaper is definitely the way I want to stay. It's not easy being a single father, lol. I plan on getting a pink case and transferring my current hardware to it for my daughter as a surprise.
  4. i said look into it. i didnt know the end price amd655.

check my rig in my more info spot.
if you chose a better gpu say a 6970 or gtx 570 you will get great gains in games.
as for my own experience my gpu handles everything i throw at it.

Ok, I will look into it, thanks!
  6. sorry for screwing up i guess i have no sense any ways i have a life and do other things than this
  7. amd655, I really like your motherboard, does it support SLI?
  8. i didnt want to spend 20 min making the list also you doing the research for someone else isnt as helpful as someone doing it himself

considering the way you put this across to the op its not helping as he wants the listed items but is asking for a little help in getting things cheaper.
if you had any sense you know full well that atm amd is cheaper and is definitly no slouch in gaming.

thanks for helping me figure out i had no sense

Please just stop, this is a forum for asking help with a new build, not a forum to try to argue.

i do aplogize deadpool for rising to it.
on topic: are u happy with my recommendations?
if u need some more information just type in google for gpu benchmarks corresponding to which gpu you want to see or have interest in.
    6950 or 6970 ect.

I am happy with the recommendations, I will look into other motherboards to see if I can find anything less expensive but not too cheap on the specs. Thank you very much!
