Which one is better performance wise? I'm playing Bad Company 2 at 1920x1200 with 8x AA and 16x AF and highest settings (HBAO off). Similar settings with Just Cause 2. I'm running an AMD Phenom II x4 955 OC'ed to 3.9 ghz. Which one would be better for my gaming needs?

The 6950 is better overall. Both have pro's and con's.

6950 Pro's:

1) overall faster at 1920x1200 and over.

2) can "unlock" to a 6970.

3) Can give "AA" to some game's that do not have any.

6950 con's

1) It runs hoter than a 560 ti.

2) No PhysX.

GTX 560 TI pro's

1) Run's cooler than 6950.

2) PhysX

3) It can overclock alot more than a 6950 or 6970.

GTX 560 ti con's

1) Overall not as fast as the 6950.

2) can't give a game "AA" like 6950 can. (older games with no AA)

i've heard that some games have their own physics , so counting 560's Physx to pro's group as full would be mistake, but also you forgot that the 560 has higher power consumption

PhysX is a feature found on some games that can basically only be run on Nvidia cards. You can't do it on AMD cards. Power consumption is overrated, as the difference in power amounts to basically a nominal difference in the cost of your power bill.

Anyway, it's already been shown that a good GTX 560 is better on BFBC2 at the specified resolution than the 6950 and produces higher minimum FPS than even the 6970.
