I currently have a scout case for my desktop and I was wondering if blocking off side vents is a good idea. As you can see it comes with two 140mm(?) vent holes.
Now I blocked them off with some paper and duct tape but it seems like my temperature went up. I also jury rigged a extra fan in the front of the case blowing in. (Where the cd/dvd drives go.
I just installed a new PSU and theres a birds nest of cords in the bottom near the Hard drive bays so I figured I'd slap an extra fan in and see how it did.
