Hi,

Does anyone know of a good site to check overall Ruggedness, (longetivity)
of notebooks over the last few years? Like the ThinkPad 600 series, the 21 &
so on. I am in the market for an affordable used notebook that is (was)
popular a few years ago which would in turn have a plenty of new & used
parts out there. Another words what are some of the most popular long
lasting Notebooks.

thanks donny

The Thinkpad T23 is an excellent model, since it is the fastest T2x
series made and has parts compatibility with all T2x Thinkpads, as well
as with many R,X and A series Thinkpads. There is absolutely no chance
you won't find something you need for it, and it is a pretty fast
machine for its age too.

If you want something rugged, get a panasonic toughbook. It can be rained
on, you can step on it, and you can drop it from 6 ft and it is supposed to
keep working.
