Hello,
am currently using ati mobility radeon 512 mb graphics card in my Acer laptop..........can i upgrade it to nvidia 1gb or more memory..........????? pls help the ati is not so good when compared to nvidia........

Firstly, you can not upgrade a laptop GPU, unless you have a very expensive gaming unit (judging by the fact it's an Acer with only 512 MB of VRAM, you don't). That's the end of the story there.

Secondly, Nvidia GPUs are just as good as comparable ATI (AMD now) GPUs; even if you could upgrade the GPU somehow, you would find similar levels of performance by both brands' GPUs at similar prices, not to mention that there are probably at least a dozen mobile GPUs that are "Nvidia 1GB". Please do not make the error of assuming all Nvidia GPUs are better than all ATI/AMD GPUs.
