Which RAM is better

well im building this computer

GIGABYTE GA-H61M-DS2 LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

CORSAIR 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

Seagate Barracuda 7200 500 GB SATA 6.0 Gb-s 16 MB Cache

Asus 24xDVD-RW Serial ATA Internal OEM Drive

NZXT Technologies Source 210 Computer Case

Corsair Builder Series CX V2 430-Watt 80 Plus Certified Power Supply Compatible with Intel and AMD Platforms - CMPSU-430CXV2

Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6850

Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit

but then i look at the ram and its only 1333 mhz so im thinking would it make a difference if i was to get like

Pareema 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 this instead its got 1600mhz but would that make any difference

ps i would be gaming/ streaming starcraft 2

  1. You will get people that argue this all day since your doing streaming and truethly you will see so little difference because your streaming if your going to pay more than $5-$10 for the difference it's not worth it. Although I did look up your two chooses and I would spend the extra $5 on:

    CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB PC12800 1600Mhz $45.00

As i can see you choose h61 board means SB BRIDGE [ suppose your using i5 2500k ] it support 1066/1333mhz if you get 1600mhz then clock speed of memory will downgrade its speed that mean 1333mhz and in 1600mhz and 1333mhz there isnt noticeble difference :)

ram can be set in Bios (or uefi) to the correct 1600mhz on many boards. check the manual. intel chipsets revert to lower speeds by default. a common issue.

not huge, but increasing ram to stated speed should nudge the WEI a point or two.

Yes you can use 1600mhz but board he already have supports 1333mhz if he goes 1600mhz by oc then it'll void the warrenty
