Is there reason why you wanna go with this ? [ Just asking ]
  4. Unknown -- Minor reason really. First is personal experince between asrock and gigabyte that I don't really want to go into. No need to fill a thread with person experince but the minor non personal reason are as listed.

    Asrock
    4 x USB 3.0
    2 x PCI Express x1
    1 x eSATA

    Gigbyte
    6 x USB 3.0
    3 x PCI Express x1
    2 x eSATA
    1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16

most add on cards are pci-e x1 now and the additional spacing given to the pci-e x1 on the board makes it eaiser to put a add-on with out fighting the SLI or CF GPu's

I recommend Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H, what it has over UD3H is Intel LAN which is the best, and another LAN, that's a dual-LAN, and Realtek on-board audio is better than VIA. UD5H is $20 more than UD3H but it's still $190, which is under your budget, and I think Intel LAN alone is worth the $20 premium.

Can't say I disagree, must of missed the UD5H when I was scimming the Mobo on newegg.
