Graphic Card for this system

I already have this system:

Phenom II 965 140W (
Noctua NH-U12P
MOtherboard: 790XTA-UD4
2 Caviar Black 1 Tb
4 Gb DDR3 1600 Mhz
Lexa S with 5 fans.
PSU: Tacens Radix II 720

My question is, without changue anything in this system, what is the best cards that I can put?

I would like to know the bests cards of Nvidia GTX400&500 and ATI 6000 that I can use.

Not the ones with better perfomance, just the most powerfull card of each serie that this PSU can handle.

HD6970 or GTX580! It meets the specs for either card!

My native resolution will be 1920x1080, but it really doesn't matter here...

I mind, right now I only one to know wich cards can my system handle. I'm worried about that cause I don't know anything about PSUs...

So, it can handle the 580 in the GTX 5xx series, 6970 in the ATI 6000 series...

What about the GTX 4xx series? I would handle a 480, or just a 470?

Based on the specs in your link it would handle GTX480 but it would be reasonable to buy GTX570 instead.

Yeah, I would agree... Better a 570 than a 480, but 480 it's about 20% cheaper than 570...

Can be found for 20% less than any 570 around here, and it seems to have a good cooler.
