Hello,
I am having trouble finding the right motherboard for an AMD PhenomII x4 965 cpu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727
the specifications says it is an AM3 socket cpu so I would assume that only AM3 socket MOBO's would fit. However, this asus motherboard has an AM3+ socket and it says it supports the PhenomII.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157262
So can an AM3 PhenomII cpu be compatible with an AM3+ motherboard or is it just specific ones?
