Computer won't turn on (Thinking dead psu)

Hey,
So for around the last week and a half my psu has been making noise and sometimes heating up and the fan would not turn on to attempt to cool it. My computer was working all fine last night. Today I go to turn it on and it will not start. When I press the power button the fans/leds turn on for a second and then turn off. I have tried replugging the psu in and still doesnt work.The case power button light works and so does the mobo green light. Is this just a dead psu that needs replacement? Its a 600w Cooler Master psu.

When in doubt throw the junk cooler master products out.

It sounds like its the power supply.
