OK, To start off I really cant say one thing that this computer will be used for. Its going to be used for a number of task including gaming, so I want this machine to be able to play all the new games and also the usual like internet and office work. This is my first build ever so its probably guna need alot of improvements.

MoBo - Asrock p67 PRO3 OR Asrock Z68 PRO3 (Cant really afford the ASUS P8P67 Pro and thought these are the second best option?)

Case - Zalman Z9 Plus

regarding memory:

(the tall RAM heat spreaders will sometimes interfere with your desired CPU heat sink/fan....

Regarding GPU: depending on budget, I'd shoot for a 6950(2gb) or GTX560Ti; if too expensive, the 6850 is next; if too expensive, the GTX460(1gb)

YOur chosen MB is fine *if* you are sure you will *never* desire to run a pair of video cards in SLI or Crossfire; choose this option carefully, as the ability to increase framerates by 80% with a 2nd GPU is quite valuable for gaming...

With GTX460's down as low as $120-$130, I'd think this over carefully....

Im very doubt full that I would need SLI or Crossfire, but if I did could you recommend a MoBo?

You mentioned overclocking but you didn't mention a cpu cooler. You need to select a good one to go with the overclocking.
