The ram you have posted is DDR2, totally outdated. At your budget you should be looking at

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9-1600MHz-Vengeance-Memory/dp/B004CRSM48/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1306797822&sr=8-1

very cheap and good performance. Or even something with lower latency (less than CL9).

I am not sure about that i7-2600... maybe the 2500k would be better? or 2600k if it fits your budget. Have a look at those. But i7-2600 is still very good, its just up to you.

The HD6850 is too low for a £1000 budget. you should aim for atleast 6950. Especially if you want to play at 1900x1080, the 6950 will last 2 years with no problem (perfomance-wise).

Also, I cant see any CPU cooler. You should really buy an aftermarket one... the prices varry from £20-60.

Hi!
I want to know is this pc for gaming?
If this is then a i5 2500k would be good for you, that way you can save money for a better gpu.Are you willing to spend 100quid on an i7 2600k for the Hyperthreading feature and 2mb of extra cache?

jalo123 read the articles in computer memory.
Basicly DDR2 was pushing its design limits, SO ddr3 offers more performance at less voltage.
When DDR2 was the most popular it was cheapest.
Now DDR3 is most popular> most competetion> lowest price. Most expensive super performance versions.
