AHCI

Hi, I would like to install an SSD drive and it states set the BIOS to ACHI for the SSD.
I cannot find AHCI in my motherboards BIOS do I need to upgrade my Motherboard please?

Correct, your MB will not have that mode.

You can use the default for your SATA port, you just won't get the performance you would out of a newer MB.
