2 Questions:
I was thinking about getting SSD disk for windows 7 boot up but then I read about how they break and stuff. Are they that unreliable? And is the boot-up time that much faster.

How good is the sound on the motherboard, do I need to buy a SB card if I want good quality sound. (I also use USB G35 surround sound headphones)

Thanks guys

PSU is a little overkill..a good 650-700(maybe 700) should be better! SSDs are reliable and can last thanks to Trim..be sure to take an Intel 320 Series which have 5 year warranty

No an 850w psu is not over kill for dual 580's. In fact a 900+w is what's usually recommended on here for dual 580's and room left. Try google next time.

@ the OP. Look at dual 560's off the get go, get that case off of amazon and save yourself shipping cost. Also look at some combo's like the cpu + RAM, and look at the gigabyte UD3 P67X to save a few dollars + free shipping (newegg).

That Samsung h/d can be had from amazon for cheaper also.

amazon has no taxes so you might want to look to get your parts there they have the-

i5 2500k same price

asrock p67 extreme4 cheaper no shipping

corsair vengeance 8gb 1600mhz (the blue one)

i dont like the haf series they suck in way to much dust and their paint chips off over time. look into the nzxt
phantom/corsair 600t

spinpoint f3 1tb for 60$

hx 850 cheaper by like a 1$ because no shipping costs

the boot up time is a lot faster for ssd's and are reliable

the onboard sound is pretty good you dont need an extra card

get 2 560 ti's 40% better performance than a single 580 for less. the motherboard comes with an sli bridge and you can downgrade to a hx 750 at amazon. get this gtx 560 ti- http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B004XUCCRM/ref=s... get the same gpu at tiger direct because it is only 1 rebate per customer per household

buy the dvd burner this one- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... , windows 7, the cooler & i think you need thermal paste with it- http://www.amazon.com/Mad-Dog-Arctic-Silver-Polysynthet... at newegg

now no taxes just shipping cost from 1 gpu from tiger direct

Really...he said he don't want to SLI, so 700W are enough for 1 580 and o/c cpu...read better next time...

The corsair 600t case is really nice! I'm gonna order it instead of cool master.
Thanks for letting me know:D

I am gonna stick with 580 gtx though, i had sli setup when they first came out with the technology couple of years ago and I had a lot of problems with it. Basically i didn't see much improvement with 2 cards vs 1 even though I use 27.5" monitor.

BTW gonna check out amazon for the prices, thanks for the heads up
