I am buying Intel Atom Board D2700MUD and that has RAM limit of 4GB.
Please suggest me which is better?
1. 2x2GB
2. 1x4GB

Money is not concerned and also tell about which has greater performance.

If it has two slots, then 2x2GB is generally the best choice to get 4GB total. It shouldn't change performance either way, although having one stick might improve performance by a fraction of a percent because it's a single channel device and having one stick instead of two will decrease strain on the memory controller.

Not always, just for this particular system. If it was dual channel capable, then 2x2 would be better than 1x4.
