Monitors > 30"

Hi everyone,

I've been wondering for a while now when we are going to start seeing monitors larger than 30", @ 2560x1600 and above. I am not really interested in getting a HDTV @ "standard" HD. Any responses welcome and thanks.

P.S. Apologies about the subsection, I didn't really know where to stick it.

Not for a long time if ever. Assuming decent demand for such a thing, it will likely cost over $2k - $2.5k.

As nice as that would be, the demand just isn't there.

Thanks for the responses. I was hoping for a larger monitor, and don't mind spending the extra money. I already have a samsung 3D LED but 1080P on so much real estate isn't that much.

Edit: In my mind a larger monitor is a better solution to say eyefinity, even if a more expensive one. The bezels in my opinion are really distracting.
