Hey guys, I got a lot of help here when I first built my computer ~2006, 2007. I haven't been on since but I really appreciated and still do appreciate what everyone did to help me back then.

I want to upgrade my current computer for Diablo III with about a $100 budget. I spent $45 to upgrade from an
XFX GeForce 7900GS
to a
GIGABYTE Radeon HD 6670 1GB

Here are the rest of my specs:

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Processor @ 2.13Ghz
Thermaltake Purepower 600W PSU
2 x 1 GB OCZ PC2 6400 Dual Channel 4-4-4-15
Windows XP 32bit Professional Edition

I haven't ever overclocked but I am open to the possibility

So I have two more open slots on my motherboard for RAM and I was considering buying this to fill the slots up: [...] 6820231122

So the questions I have are:

Will having Windows XP limit the maximum RAM that can be utilized by the computer?

Can I mix and match with different brands, sizes, timing types, etc. for RAM like I plan to here?

If I do upgrade RAM, would it worth it to upgrade form XP to Windows 7 as well?

i suggest trying out with what you have now. you will be limited with XP to just over 3 Gigs usable.
yes you could use different ram but it will downclock to the lower set timings/speed.
if you do up grade your ram i would look at W7 64bit for more ram 4+ gigs.
