Hello,
I messed with the display adapter setting on my PC (Windows XP) and have now lost the video. What is the easiest way to get it back?
The PC boots up and I get the Windows splash screen and then nothing.

Thanks. Will try it later when I get home.

Tried it when I got home. Unfortunately, in safe mode, at a certain point as the drivers were loading it would freeze. Tried twice and then decided to do a XP repair. It took longer but worked.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will remember for next time.

As a result of previous "hangs", you may have had some corruption of system files that the XP repair took care of. Now that you are up and running, make sure to ensure the system is up to date via Windows Update.

Glad you are up and running!
