Well it does fit, but I can`t plug the whole cable into the slot, no matter how much pressure i put. It can only fit around one-third of how it actually should fit. When I pull it with very very little force, it easily comes out.

I cannot see it clearly from the picture, but can you check that the space inside the power connector is clear of anything (I doubt if you haven't checked already). So, all of the sata power are like that for that psu? I doubt it is the problem with the HDD and the DVD. Try plugging to your old PSU?

May need someone who had this problem before to give you an answer.

I have exactly the same problem with exactly the same power supply! I think we should let cooler master know, but at the same time don't want to wait for them to ship out replacement cables.

Are spare cables available on Amazon? Not sure if the PSU's socket is proprietary. :/

For the mean time I'm using a molex to SATA power adapter.

Yeah I solved the problem buying Molex to SATA adapter as well. I guess I shouldn't buy power supplies from CoolerMaster anymore :x
