What happens to laptop battery if i put the battery when the computer is

Hello,
i removed my laptop battery frm laptop to increase its life....
i put it back when laptop was on....now its not charging....wht to do?

Did you put it in storage after it was drained or after it was charged and in storage for how long/condition of storage?

In contrary, do not over drain your Li-ion battery. Li-ion cell will reverse polarity when over drained and short circuit (dangerous). To avoid that, the protection circuit will be blown, render you battery to nothing but dead weight!
