Hello, I am trying to currently trying to find a good MoBo for my AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Manchester 2.2GHz. Unsure of where to look, only criteria I have is to have no need of upgrading CPU just yet and be SLI capable to run my dual Radeon HD 2600 XTs. Current MoBo just isn't going to cut it with D3 in download.

You won't find any new; those older boards have the old style caps; only the newer ones have solid state; I recommend you check ebay, anandtech's for sale forum, or your local craigslist. I've seen some am2 sli for $20; you just have to be patient and check daily.

Just a tip, if you're asking for a motherboard recommendation that's superior to what you have, it helps if you post what you have as a starting point, as well as budget indicator.

From what I've found, your CPU is socket 939 which is basically extinct. I found what is widely known to be a great board for that CPU that supports SLI, but it's out of stock for the most part.

Here's the board, although a seemingly questionable vendor....at the price though, it's a steal
