i'd like to upgrade the cpu on an emachine d2244 computer. it currently has a 2.2 cpu. what is the largest cpu that the motherboard will handle? larry

your going to have to provide more info than that, if you dont know whats in it

install a program called specy from piriform.com (it will have ccleaner on it so you know its right site)

download it run it then tell us what processor and motherboard you have, it will say in the program
