Hello,
I'm having a issue wondering if my power supply will work on my video card. My video card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... needs 2 PCIe 6 pins connectors from 2 different cords. My power supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... says it is SLI ready and has 2 PCIe 6 pin connectors but it is on the same cord. I was wondering if I plugged my power supply into my video card it would be alright. I havent tried to plug it in yet because I am afraid to mess up my video card.

plug it in, if its not enough voltage it wont run

it will only draw the power it needs, electrics 101

it would take a lot of power draw to damage the cable the conects to psu

excess power will flow down the neutrol in the wire so dont worry

if there was a break in the circuit there would be no power going to it at all its the same as your lights, you cut of the live cable when you flick the switch off

buy a better, branded power supply

the corsair builders series would be a much better choice and it wont damage your hardware if it breaks

dont save money power suply thats where you want to spend money (if the power supply breaks it can take all your other parts with it, you can spend an extra 20-30

(this one should work http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

its on offer at $49 at the moment

i asume that the graphics cards use pci-e conecters)
