Hey guys, I managed to obtain a somewhat new workstation computer from my dad's company, but the only thing I do is gaming.

Are workstation computers ideal for gaming? this computer was used for graphic design stuff...

Specs

Intel® Xeon® Quad-Core X568
12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
2GB HDD
NVIDIA Quadro FX3800
850w PSU

Xeons are equal performance to their consumer counterparts so the x5680 is equal to a 980. The quadro is not made for gaming and drivers usually make a difference in games. While I have played games on a quadro, it might have issues in some games. Spec-wise it's near a 460 or 550ti. You could try games on it and see if the gpu is good but if not that is the only issue that can arise.

Thanks for the reply!

Adding a consumer grade graphics card shouldn't really interfere with anything right ? Assuming I will take out the quadro and sell it or something.
